Our client contacted us after experiencing ongoing water ingress above a front-facing window. The issue became more noticeable during periods of heavy rainfall and had begun to cause concern internally.
Upon visiting the property, we carried out a detailed inspection and identified defects within the existing fibreglass roof, along with water tracking from the main flat roof through the timber structure. Based on our findings, we recommended a long-term solution to fully seal and protect both roof areas.
The client agreed to proceed with the works, which were scheduled and completed efficiently to minimise disruption.
Works Completed
- Our experienced team carried out the following works:
- Prepared and thoroughly cleaned all existing roof surfaces
- Carefully removed and reinstated the vertical slates
- Installed a new bitumen torch-on overlay to the main flat roof and the roof above the window
- Ply-lined and fully encapsulated the parapet wall
- Installed and dressed a new breaker lead to ensure a watertight finish
- In total, approximately 52m² of flat roofing was completed.

The works successfully resolved the source of the water ingress and provided the client with a durable, weather-resistant roofing system designed to extend the lifespan of the roof. The client now has peace of mind knowing their property is fully protected from future leaks.
